The
ceremony will be held in a newly opened Victorian-style chapel with
wooden pews and a fireplace. It seats 80 comfortably. The minister
(who is also involved in Civil War re-enacting) will be wearing a
parson's robe, and the vows and ceremony will those of a wedding
that took place in 1898 ("wilt thou...take...for thy lawfully
wedded wife/husband..."). It will be a double ring ceremony.
Upon leaving the chapel, we and our guests will release balloons.
We're still working on music for the processional and recessional,
as well as the possibility of a wedding program, if money allows.
