Bridesmaids' Attire

The bridesmaids will be wearing a teal I call "electric teal" because it is so vibrant. The dresses are monece satin that is very close in feel and weight to the ivory slipper satin of my gown. Their dresses are custom-designed to reflect the 1898 theme also, made tea length to show off their ivory boots. They have lacy gauntlets and fitted bodices wtih a below-the-hip front point, as was the style in those days, and a coachman bustle in back. The dresses have large leg of mutton sleeves and teal-colored satin buttons from neck to bustle.

Each bridesmaid will also wear a derby hat with an ostrich blume and cream maribu wrapped around the inner brim, teal Russian net, teal tulle, and a teal back rosette.

Matron of Honor

The Matron of Honor has the same dress as the bridesmaids, but will be distinguished by her hat, which will have cream Russian net with ivory tulle and two ostrich plumes.

Junior Bridesmaids

The junior bridesmaids' dresses will be duplicates of the bridesmaids'. They will also carry lacy parasols. Their shoes are ivory satin mary janes. They will also wear cameo earrings.
